Mrs DeCicco First Grade Class: Paul Klee loved children's art. When he looked at children's art it inspired him to make paintings. He used his imagination to paint pictures of imaginary worlds. He loved music. Maybe he listened to music when he painted.
This is Meg RyanMetz, a teacher at the East Hampton Middle School. I think Sarah did a great job on her Paul Klee inspired work. One fact about Paul Klee that I found interesting is that he was inspired by Pablo Picasso's Cubism. I think you can see that in this piece of artwork.
Mrs Nobiletti"s First Grade Class: Paul Klee was an abstract painter. When we look at paintings by Paul Klee sometimes we can see numbers or letters or other things that we can recognize.

Sarah and Marielis's paintings came out beautiful. I'm sure they put hard work and effort into them. I remember making the Paul Frant Portrait of a Man paintings and they were lots of fun!
I remember doing this project! I have a sister who is in first grade! She is holding up her picture somewhere above this comment! By the way, she is the one labled Sarah! I think this is a very creative and fun art project to do! I Had a blast making this art project! I don't know who's is better , although I can't remeber what mine looked like anyway! If you're not in first grade (wich would mean you're in kindergarten) you should be looking forward to doing it! -Amy F
