Students were inspired by Pop Artist Andy Warhol when they created a "Favorite Food Still Life.  Here are some examples of their finished work.

FOURTH GRADE:

First Grade:

Second Grade:

This week in art class students created pinch pots using model magic.  The students chose two primary colors and made a secondary color by mixing those colors together.  Watch the videos below for an interesting followup activity.

Fourth Grade Mosaics

Fourth Grade Art Classes are creating mosaic trays using a variety of cut ceramic and glass tiles. Where do we see mosaics in our day to day lives? If you are a student at Westhampton Beach Elementary School can you find and names 7 mosaics found around the school? Leave a comment if you can name them.
