Second Grade Artists created portraits of the faculty and staff using pastel on colored paper.

Third Grade Classes created leaf prints in beautiful colors using leaves they collected and tempera paint!

Kindergarten Classes read Scarecrows Hat, written and illustrated by Ken Brown.
We created our own scarecrow faces with hats using cut colored paper and crayon.

The Independent Newspaper runs a Writing and Art Contest every year. Students in grades K-5 art classes submitted their art work. 125 student finalists have work in this years slideshow which can be seen on my website. Out of these 125 works the Independent selected 17 winners from Westhampton Beach Elementary School. The winners are:
